In a survey of German businesses, KfW reported almost half of the medium-sized businesses with more than 100 employees experienced a cyberattack between 2018 – 2020. Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the number of cyberattacks has increased substantially.  While ransomware and data breaches remain favored modus operandi, weaknesses in cloud storage, supply chain partner and customer linkages further expand the attack surface for hackers targeting business entities, independent of their sector.  Individual consumers and employees are increasingly vulnerable, regulation compliance increasingly complex, businesses increasingly liable for control inadequacies. With rising inflation, energy costs and a shrinking skilled cyber workforce, which strategies can cyber officers utilize to sustainably manage these risks?

The U.S. Consulate General – Frankfurt and the United States Secret Service warmly invite you to the second cybersecurity conference, “Sustaining Cybersecurity in an Interconnected World, “on October 26th.

Designed for company and organization CISOs and CIOs, this one-day event is a unique opportunity to hear the latest trends from law enforcement, industry and government experts and exchange best practices in the evolving cybersecurity field.

Please reach out directly to FrankfurtProtocol@state.gov  to request an invitation to directly register.
